PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND SOFTWARE IMPLEMENTATION
- Healthcare Frontier is currently performing a leadership role in a large medical group’s implementation of Access Express, a web based system designed to increase physician connectivity, manage referrals, automate UM workflows, and improve clinical outcomes.
- Healthcare Frontier is currently providing project management, process re-engineering, configuration support and software development services to a large healthcare organization that administers business on behalf of public sector health plans.
- Healthcare Frontier recently managed a migration of membership data, provider data, authorization data, and claims data for a large medical foundation in California.
- Healthcare Frontier recently lead the NPI remediation effort for a large public sector health plan. This project impacted over fifty applications and over thirty vendor EDI interfaces.
- Healthcare Frontier has recently customized a legacy application owned by a large health plan in Florida.
- Healthcare Frontier recently managed the implementation of a web based referral management system for a large medical group located in Southern California. In addition to managing the implementation, Healthcare Frontier consultants designed and developed interfaces that populate the web based application with membership and provider data from the medical group's legacy applications.

IMPLEMENTATION STRATEGY
- Healthcare Frontier has performed system implementation assessments for large payors and has provided senior level counsel to executives on ways to fast track and improve implementation outcomes.
SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
- Healthcare Frontier has been responsible for the design, development, testing and deployment of several hundred managed care software solutions. These projects have resulted in improved operational efficiency and cost savings for our clients in the areas of benefits administration, membership tracking, provider reimbursement, duplicate claim checking, premium billing, and electronic data interchange.
- Healthcare Frontier professionals participated on the development team of an Internet behavioral health software vendor. Healthcare Frontier responsibilities included requirements analysis, project definition, documentation of design specifications, and quality assurance.
- Healthcare Frontier consultants led the effort for a large managed-care provider in their development and implementation of client-server applications. We provided high-level design, program specifications, project management, technical support and staff training as well as programming services using Windows, PowerBuilder and Oracle development tools.
HIPAA TRANSACTION STANDARDS
- Healthcare Frontier is active in providing feedback on proposed NPI rules.
- Healthcare Frontier enhanced a Medicare Health Plan's host system to ensure compliance with HIPAA Transaction Standards.
